After reviewing 7-2: An Insider’s Portrait of Alzheimer’s, describe the devastating impact of Dementia and Alzheimer’s in the older adult community. What are the causes of each of these diseases, and how are they distinguishable from “normal” memory decline in old age? Also, review the multi-media video for this week and comment on the physical differences between a healthy brain and an abnormal brain. Identify a minimum of three differences.
