Task: Perspective Piece for the Australian Health Review Journal
You are required to write, in accordance with the authorship guidelines of the Australian Health
Review Journal, a perspective piece. This perspective piece should draw on work you have previously
performed in assessments tasks 1 and 2 earlier this semester, and should be focused on your clinical
research question.
1. Authorship guidelines are available at: https://www.publish.csiro.au/nid/272/aid/13686.htm
How to Write a Perspective Piece?
Perspective articles present a novel view on a topical issue of broad interest, explore significant
questions, examine the validity of current views in the field, and recommend directions for future
research. The author, usually a recognised authority in the field, is welcome to take a controversial
standpoint, but overall, the article should provide a clear and balanced discussion to inform nonspecialist
readers. The author can make specific and practical proposals, either setting an agenda or
proposing better options.
You are not required to submit an abstract for this assessment task, only the perspective piece itself.
Additionally, you are not required to use the Vancouver referencing style. Please keep your
referencing consistent, and use APA Harvard as you have previously. You are required to provide a
full bibliography, in accordance with APA Harvard style, for this assessment task.
