Weekly tasks or assignments (Individual or Group Projects) will be due by Monday, and late submissions will be assigned a late penalty in accordance with the late penalty policy found in the syllabus. NOTE: All submission posting times are based on midnight Central Time.
Read the entire list of instructions before beginning the assignment.
Open a new blank Microsoft Word document, and complete the following steps:
Insert Picture
1.Makes sure that you already have an image saved in your computer hard drive.
2.If you do not have any image saved in your compute hard drive, please follow and complete the following steps:
1.Open an Internet browser.
2.Navigate to a search engine (such as this one.)
3.Select the Images tab.
4.Find an image of a Personal Computer.
5.Left-click on the image until you get to the largest image of it.
6.Right-click on the image and select Save Picture as.
7.Save the picture to your IT102 folder.
8.Switch back to your Word document.
3.On your Word document, select the Insert tab, and then click on the Picture icon.
4.Navigate to your C or D: drive, find your picture, click on the picture of it, and then click on the Insert button.
5.Your picture will be inserted into your document
6.If the picture is too big, select the picture, use the resize handles (little squares at each corner of the picture), and left-click and drag until the picture is the size you want.
Page Setup
1.Select the Page Layout tab.
2.Select the Margins icon.
3.Select the Custom Margins at the bottom of the drop-down menu.
4.Change the left and right margins to 0.7.
5.Change the Top margin to 0.8 and the bottom margin to 0.6.
6.Click OK.
Table
1.Select the Insert tab.
2.Select the Table icon.
3.Choose 6 Columns, 4 Rows.
4.Enter the data within the table below into your table.
5.When you put your cursor inside any cell of your table, the Design and Layout tabs will be added to your Word original tabs under the Table tools.
6.Select the Design tab.
7.Click on any Table style you like to apply it to your table.

Lists
1.Type your 5 favorite fruits or vegetables, one each on its own line, such as the following example:
Peach
Pear
Apple
Asparagus
Broccoli
2.Make sure you have the Home tab selected.
3.Select all of your words.
4.Click on the small arrow of the Bullets Icon, a bullet library drop-down menu will show up.
5.Click on any style you like.
Page Numbers
1.Select the Insert tab.
2.Select the Page Number icon.
3.Select Top of Page and click on the Plain Number 3.
4.Page numbers are added into the Header for each page you add to your document.
5.Double-click anywhere outside the Header.
Once complete all of these tasks, save your Word Document as yourname_IP3.
