When starting this capstone project, on conflict resolution in public schools, I had no idea how much I would learn. Here is a snap shot of what I learned from all of my resources.

The oldest and most popular pattern for the programs is a peer mediation model. This involves training students to work out the conflicts of their peers. This model can be either a whole-school program or a curriculum based program. In order for this program to be most effective it needs to be a whole-school program.
